Annika Aakjær is finishing a new album that is expected to be released in 2026.
Before that, Annika will also release a new Christmas song for DR, and participate in some other TV programs in the autumn of 2025.
And when summer is upon us again in 2026, Annika takes the new songs (and the old ones) along the road in collaboration with her regular band.
“Music is my way of connecting with the world, and on this tour I really look forward to creating that connection and sharing those moments with my audience.”.
There is something magical about performing live; it’s as if the music gets a whole new life when it’s shared with others.” – says Annika Aakjær.
Since her debut album ‘Lille Filantrop’ back in 2008, Annika Aakjær has been a prominent voice on the Danish music scene.
Her abilities as a singer, composer and lyricist are undeniable, and she continues to surprise her audience with her sharp and self-expressive storytelling and songs.
Over the years, Annika has grown both as an artist and as a person, and her strong connection with her audience has made her one of the country's most beloved and respected artists, both on stages and at festivals.
Annika Aakjær has always had a unique ability to move the audience with her voice, laughter, personality and, not least, her lyrics.
Annika has a unique ability to take her audience into her quirky universe of reflections on her life, which is always an important part of her concerts.
Annika Aakjær is both a musician and an actress and has appeared in films such as ’Dirch’ and the theatre production ’Come Together’.
In 2018, she was part of TV2’s ’Toppen af Poppen’, just as she ended the Zulu Comedy Galla 2019 and received an impressive standing ovation for her song about menstruation.
