Jan Gintberg probably needs no further introduction.
He is one of the country's best and most seasoned and booked comedians and always manages to get something funny out of everything and in all situations.
Even though he has been on stage for over 30 years, there are still plenty of jokes, satirical observations and excellent stories left in him – and it's not stopping anytime soon.
Jan Gintberg is not a comedian without opinions - quite the opposite. He masters both intelligent observations and hard-hitting truths.
Nothing is sacred to him, which is probably why so many people love him and can't help but laugh in his company.
In 1997, he had his popular breakthrough as a stand-up comedian as one fourth of the "Tæskeholdet" (The Tæske Team) that devastated P3 every Friday morning in the mid-90s.
On DR, he has had countless popular programs for many years, where he explores and questions various topics with his own satirical angle, and who doesn't remember; "Gintberg på Kanten"? The program is extremely funny, and as a viewer you get an insight into different societies in both inner and outer Denmark.
Jan manages to make fun of the people he meets on his way through the Danish countryside in the funniest way.
