This weekend, Ganløse Kro hosted a concert with Ganløse's own hometown boy, singer and songwriter Søren Poppe. Here he sang the classics 'Ved du, hvad hun sagde', 'Danmarks Drenge' and 'Der stør et billede af dig på mit bord', but Søren Poppe's repertoire consists of much more than the happy songs from the Rollo & King era. He has also released a couple of solo albums, and this is the first time he has performed with them and a band. The band consists of well-known and super competent musicians with Jens Runge on guitar, Lars DK on keyboard and Benni Boss on bass.
The concert on Saturday was the last on a small spring tour that Søren Poppe and the band have been on, and where the road has also passed by Slagslunde.
