When Denmark became Suspekt, something happened in the Danish music scene. When Suspekt takes the stage, it is always with an agenda to surprise, surpass and flood the audience with their intelligent soundscape and lustful presence.
On stage, there is what GAFFA has previously called, respect for Suspekt and respect from Suspekt. The temperature quickly rises when Suspekt delivers top energy and wild stage shows that will go down in the memory file and unfold a madness party of dimensions.
Roman candles, flamethrowers, gas burners – and maybe a black Mercedes Benz with a V-cylinder-like draft beer system as an engine.
It's just a sampling of the well-considered lyre that compliments their hard-hitting energy. Their soundscape is intelligent and razor-sharp. Their lyrics are direct – and dirty.
Stylistically, Suspekt raps with a hard, raw style in both music and lyrics. Their style has been referred to as horrorcore.
Suspekt has performed at Roskilde Festival, Smukfest, Northside Festival and Tinderbox, among others, and the group has collaborated with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Lukas Graham, Tina Dichow, Benal and Jooks.

DR3 has been following Denmark's largest and most popular hip-hop group, Suspekt, for a year, and a documentary series has emerged from it.
In the series, DR3 follows Suspekt from the recording of the critically acclaimed album 'V' in Los Angeles, while they play sold-out concerts around the country, and as they convincingly close the Orange Stage at Roskilde with a bang.
In other words, the trio of self-proclaimed proletarians from Albertslund have a firm grip on the roots of the Danish music landscape.
