Mili J is a new voice in global pop – a singer, songwriter and topliner who balances between East and West, and who dares to be uncompromising, honest and unfiltered.
In November 2024, she made her debut in Asia with "Deja Vu".
On January 10, 2025, she hit the world with her first global release, followed by "Boy Is Mine" (March 7) and "Is It Over Now" (May 23) – a single that
created a viral dance trend on TikTok.
Although she is Danish, her soul is Asian. She has lived in China, speaks fluent Chinese, and is signed to Cheerful Music 清⻛乐, part of Tencent Music Entertainment Group.
Together with her Danish manager, RW Production & Management, she is working towards one clear goal: a breakthrough in China.
Mili J is strategically targeting the Asian market and has proven in record time that she can create hype:
• 11,400 followers on Xiaohongshu – in just a few months, totally
organic.
• A viral TikTok dance trend to Is It Over Now, created by
fans and influencers.
Mili J is pop at its most honest: cinematic, vulnerable, strong. Her sound and visual universe is an American-Asian fusion, where platinum blonde hair, light blue eyes,
Signature color, rose chokers and chunky shoes meet lyrics that cut to the bone.
She draws inspiration from Chappel Roan, Laufey and Rosie – women who dare to be both fragile and powerful.
Similarly, Mili J balances between being relatable and larger-than-life.
She has previously appeared in Stjerneklar on DR (2023), receiving attention in Denmark and working with producers such as Esben Thorndal, Andreas Mørck, Christian Vium (GoGo Berlin) and Simon Sana (former producer for Blæst), who are now part of her permanent team. She is also an alumnus of SheCanPlay 2023–24.

After six years of focused work on her brand, MILI J was signed to the Chinese-English record label Cheerful Music and RW Production & Management in 2024.
Mili J's music revolves around mental challenges such as depression and epilepsy, identity crises and the complexity of love.
With modern SoMe marketing and a strong storytelling strategy, she is working to establish herself on both the Chinese and international music scenes. At the same time, she is fighting to create greater gender balance in the music industry, where female artists still face major challenges.
In 2024, she was also awarded the BOT grant for her work with music and was part of the talent program SheCanPlay, Hold 5, which supports and develops female artists in the music industry.
Energetic, happy, outgoing, but also sensitive both inside and out. She has a lot to say to the world, and what she has to say comes from a large baggage from her already long journey.
