Stine Bramsen released her first single in three years in 2022.What I Want You To Do', which is more organic, energetic and where honesty has been given more space than in her previous music.
The new sound of the single can perhaps be credited to the great names who have been involved in writing and producing it, including Emil Falk, Thomas Helmig, Benjamin Hav and Lukas Graham. The collaboration led to 8 more songs in just two weeks.
Stine Bramsen has teamed up with musician Kajsa Vala in a new project called Bye Bye Brenda, where the singer's introverted side finds space through Kajsa Vala's vulnerable musical universe. Together they delve into the melancholy and inner darkness of us all.
The musical collaboration between the two friends has been going on for a long time, and in the spring the two toured Denmark on an intimate tour that took them to 12 Danish cities.
About the tour, Stine Bramsen said at the time: "On my last tour, I turned down the band size and up the intimacy with the audience.
I think something really good and honest came out of that, and Kajsa and I felt like we wanted to investigate it further.
A budding desire to go out and play just the two of us, because we have a rather unique harmony between us both musically and personally.
I've also gained the courage to talk a little more between the songs and show a few more sides of myself, and I think the collaboration with Kajsa creates the best framework for just that - and I'm really looking forward to it!"
