Pil is a Danish songwriter and artist, known for writing truthfully about all the strange and awkward feelings in an uplifting and playful pop universe.
Loneliness and unhappy love are described as precisely as possible, so that the listener can sense that something is at stake and at the same time can nod in recognition of the elaborate, embarrassing scenarios.
In 2023, she won the P3 Talent Award and in 2024 she released her second album, “Hvis Du Tør At Drømme”.
She was nominated for a Danish Music Award, 2 Carl Prizes and a Robert.
Pil released her first EP “Når Du Går Herfra” in the fall of 2019 and received great praise for her well-written Danish lyrics, which were called masterfully constructed by Soundvenue.
She then released the duet "Reverse” with Andreas Odbjerg and ”Before You Me". The latter led to the magazine Politiken calling her one of the biggest promises in the Danish pop genre.
She has had several singles in heavy rotation on both P3 and P4.
