A lecture about the balance between health for body and mind
About the lecture
What does health really mean? Is it the ability to run a marathon, eat vegetables every day and have a well-trained body – or is it also being able to find peace, have good relationships and thrive mentally?
In the lecture Healthy inside, healthy outside Julia Sofia Aastrup & Mark Abildhauge invite the audience into an honest and present conversation about health in its broadest sense. With their own perspectives – Julia focusing on the mind and Mark on the body – they challenge the idea that health can only be measured in numbers, weight and performance.
Julia believes that when you take care of your mind, the body will follow suit. Mark believes that when you take care of your body, the mind will be strengthened. Together, they show how these two paths meet in the same goal: a life where the body and soul work together, so that we have a body that is fun to be in throughout our entire lives.
The lecture is a mix of personal experiences, scientific insights, and humorous observations from their own lives as a couple. The audience can expect an engaging presentation, where conversation and questions are welcome along the way.
