American Ride is a Danish Americana band that writes and performs music with roots planted in country, rock and blues – and with a focus on stories that you can relate to. These are songs about relationships, life choices, hope and adversity, told honestly and without unnecessary clichés.
The band’s expression is based on respect for the art of song-writing: strong melodies, clear choruses and guitar work with both a twang and a weight.
The music has a clear American background, but the stories and the atmosphere have a sobriety and thoughtfulness that make them relatable to a Nordic audience.
With the debut album "Come Over" American Ride laid the foundation for their sound and live performance style. Since then, the band has continued to work purposefully on their material and now stands with two full sets of meticulously crafted original songs. Over time, the sound has gained more depth without losing its Americana roots.
American Ride is known for its concerts that balance the intimate and the energetic. There is room for both tranquility, reflection, and moments when the music lifts and draws the audience in. These are concerts with a sense of playfulness, presence, and clear connection – regardless of whether the stage is small or large.
