Mads Steffensen is one of the country's most popular radio and TV hosts. In addition to being the man behind the successful radio program “Mads & Monopolet”, he has also made a name for himself as a host on the TV programs “Her er dit liv”, “Kender du typen” and “Kongerigets Klogeste”.
Mads Steffensen is a skilled and experienced moderator, presenter and interviewer.
He graduated as a journalist from the Danish School of Journalism in 1997. He has previously worked at Berlingske Tidende, Metronome Productions and of course DR-P3, where he became the host of Mads & Monopolet in September 2003. He previously hosted the P3 programs Strax and Go' Morgen P3. In January 2007, he also became the host of Aftenshowet on DR1.

In 2006, Mads received the Radio Prize and in 2009 Ekstra Bladet's prize The Golden Microphone for Mads & Monopolet, and in 2011 he received the Zulu Awards for the same popular program.
In addition to his journalistic career, Mads Steffensen has written the children's action book 'The Boys from Battalion 6-46', which was published in October 2006.
Mads is excellent as a moderator in various panels as well as a host, emcee and toastmaster for larger events – and not least as a really good interviewer who easily and elegantly gets under the skin of the guests, as can be seen in the DR program "Her er dit liv".
