In 2006, he achieved fourth place at the Danish Standup Championship, and in 2007 he chose to move from Skanderborg to Copenhagen to develop his talent in standup.
That same year he won the Danish Open in Stand-Up in May in Aarhus.
He has participated in the program Comedy Fight Club on TV 2 Zulu in the second and third seasons. In the second season in 2007 he achieved second place, while he won the third season in the spring of 2008.
Simon Talbot participated in the third season of 2008. Zulu Devil Race. Simon was paired with Mascha Vang, the two advanced to the semi-finals and later to the final. In October 2009, the series started Where the hell is Herning? on TV 2 Zulu, where Simon Talbot plays a friend of the main character, Martin, played by Mick Øgendahl.
In 2009, he participated in Comedy Aid and the following year he hosted the event, which raises money for the Danish Cancer Society.
In March 2010, he debuted as a host in Bingo Bank on TV2 together with comedian Jacob Wilson.
Talbot participated in Zulu Cattle Grass in 2010 on TV2 Zulu.
At the beginning of 2018, Simon Talbot announced that he had taken the plunge and gone to the United States to make a name for himself as a comedian.
In 2018 we can find Simon on tour with his new show "Make Denmark Great Again"
