'Home to Aarhus' together with På Slaget 12 has long since become an evergreen,
and in addition it has resulted in a long series of chart positions with e.g. 'Out on the blue ocean', Take your girlfriend by the hand' as well as
album series 'Let's Dance'.
Ann-Mette Elten debuted as a soloist in 1999 with the album 'Refrain', which included classics such as 'Alone all week' and
'Thanks for all the kisses', and despite numerous warnings that it would never be possible to reinterpret old Giro 413 classics, she sold over 80,000 copies of the album.
The following year it was the album “Hot Hot” with Kai Normann Andersen evergreens.
In November 2012, Ann-Mette took a highly unexpected step and released the album “Adagio – 12 classical songs” with a selection of some of the great and popular songs from the classical repertoire such as Puccini's O Mio Babbino Caro and Schubert's Ave Maria.
The album was recorded in Prague with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
and achieved a gold record for over 13,000 copies sold, which in Denmark is considered a very large number for a purely classical album.
Ann-Mette has released a total of 7 solo albums and in 2016 was able to celebrate
30th anniversary with På Slaget 12.
As a soloist and together with På Slaget 12, she has sold more than 1 million albums.
